In The Gym Houten we give lessons with different focus areas, see below which they are.


What we mainly focus on is the exercise technique.

On the internet you can find thousands, if not tens of thousands of videos with exercises, workouts and tutorials. And of course there are very good ones.

What you often miss, however, if you are going to train this yourself in a Calisthenics park for example, is the feedback from someone who watches with you and knows what he or she is talking about.

If you do, you can really start taking steps and you will not run into the known obstacles, not to mention the occurrence of injuries after regularly performing exercises / movements incorrectly.

BASICS TRAINING


Power, mobility and technology

Basics are the fundamental movements / exercises within Calisthenics. Think of: Pull Ups, Push Ups, Squats, Dips and Core exercises. All variants of these exercises also fall under the Basics.

HIIT TRAINING


High Intensity Interval Training

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. With this form of training you will work at a high intensity. These can be exercises from the Basics, but with short breaks in between, making this form of training (very) intensive.

STATICS TRAINING


Full Body Control

When performing Statics you hang or push yourself against gravity, whereby every muscle in your body is contracted and all muscle groups must work together to maintain that specific posture.

Often these postures are the ultimate goal for Calisthenics practitioners.

Power Moves within the Calisthenics are for example Front Lever, Back lever, Planche and Human Flag.

For all (class) hours it is necessary to register via the SportBit App.
